Once you have registered you can click on the "Youth Submissions" tab to submit your poetry.

You must be registered in order to submit your poetry to the Adult Anthology. If you have not yet registered, please go to the "Festival" tab located on the menu bar above and click on the "Adult Registration" tab.

Submit up to three poems individually. Each poem must be inserted into the text area of this submission form. A recommendation is to copy and paste from plain text file in your computer.

Simultaneous submissions or previously published poems are not acceptable.

Special fonts, shape-poems, etc. cannot be accepted.

Printed poems must fit onto one 4-inch by 7-inch template. Click on the following link if you would like to use a  template:

Poems should be primarily in English.  Words from other languages may be interspersed. If a full English translation is used with the full text of another language, each language should fit onto one page for a total of two pages.  The editor reserves the option to use only the English translation.

There are no restrictions on subject matter or style except what is listed in these guidelines.

The editor has the right to judge content or language obscene and not suitable for publication in this family-oriented anthology.

Special note regarding size restriction: Paper size: 6 x 9, Margins: 1 inch, Line spacing: 1.0, Font: Times New Roman, Font size: 12 point. The 4-inch width allows approximately 9 words, roughly 45 characters, depending on the width of characters. Any lines that are longer than 4 inches will break onto the next line and add to the line count. The 7-inch height allows 35 lines, including title, skipped lines (spaces between stanzas are counted) and the author's name. Poems more than 35 lines (including skipped lines between title and body of the poem and between stanzas) will be automatically rejected - no exceptions.

Submissions are open from September 1, 2017 to February 15, 2018.

Publication notifications will be sent by mid-March, 2018.

Release of the anthology coincides with AIPF, April 5-8, 2018.
